(ii) Sub-committee: A sub-committee is a smaller group within a larger organization or committee that is responsible for a specific task or function. Sub-committees are often formed to focus on a specific issue or to deal with a particular aspect of the organization’s work.
(iii) Seconder (of a motion): A seconder is a person who supports a motion or proposal that has been made during a meeting. The seconder is responsible for stating their support for the motion and may also speak to the reasons why they believe the motion should be adopted.
