(i) Incineration:

(ii) Recycling:

1. Limited markets: There may not always be a market for recycled materials, which can make recycling less economically viable.
2. Contamination: Recycling can be disrupted by contaminants that are mixed in with the materials, such as food waste or hazardous substances.
3. Limited in scope: Not all materials are suitable for recycling, and some types of waste, such as hazardous or medical waste, cannot be recycled.
