    (i) Incineration:

    1. Air pollution: Incineration can release harmful chemicals and particles into the air, which can have negative effects on human health and the environment.
    2. High cost: Incineration can be a costly waste disposal method, particularly if the facility must meet strict environmental regulations.
    3. Limited in scope: Incineration is only suitable for certain types of waste, such as paper, plastic, and medical waste, and is not a practical option for other types of waste.

    (ii) Recycling:

    1. Limited markets: There may not always be a market for recycled materials, which can make recycling less economically viable.
    2. Contamination: Recycling can be disrupted by contaminants that are mixed in with the materials, such as food waste or hazardous substances.
    3. Limited in scope: Not all materials are suitable for recycling, and some types of waste, such as hazardous or medical waste, cannot be recycled.
