(i) Sorting: Sorting is the process of organizing files in a specific order, such as by name, size, or date. This can be done manually by a user, or automatically by the computer using a specified sorting criteria. Sorting can help users more easily locate and access specific files, and can also help to keep files organized and easier to manage.
(ii) Searching: Searching is the process of locating a specific file or group of files within a larger collection of files. This can be done using keywords or other search criteria, and can be performed using a search function built into the computer’s operating system or a separate search tool. Searching can be useful for quickly finding a specific file or group of files when a user is not sure where it is stored.
(iii) Retrieval: Retrieval is the process of accessing and reading a file or group of files. This can be done using a file management tool or application, such as a file explorer or a word processor. Retrieval allows a user to view and use the contents of a file, and may also involve copying or moving the file to a different location.
